Would you like a paper delivered in a morning? We are a local business who deals with home deliveries only. We aim to deliver to houses and businesses throughout the Ilkley area, before 8am Monday ~ Friday, and 8.30am Saturday and Sunday.

Company Background
C.P. News was formed in 1997 when Colin Pritchard took over the news delivery service formally provided by United News Shops, in Ben Rhydding, before the multiple store was closed down.Gradually over the years the area and number of customers C.P. News serve has expanded, as other retailers have ceased trading, and our customers have recommended us to friends and family.
In 2004 Mr Pritchard decided he had had enough of the early mornings, and decided to take a well earned rest/retire, and sold the business. Richard and Gillian took the business over, having had twelve years previous experience in both retail and wholesale newsagencies.
The business now has over 1200 customers across Ilkley, Denton and Middleton - showing takings in excess of £400,000 per year. We are currently the biggest independent retailer of the Yorkshire Post, and in the top five for The Telegraph for the Yorkshire area. We also employ twenty-two local people as news deliverers, the people we employ are all aged seventeen and over, this is due to the local bylaws which state that anyone under the age of 17 cannot work before 7am, or carry more weight than the equivalent of five Sunday Times (we currently deliver about 250 Sunday Times each week).
We hope to continue to expand the company and welcome new customers, whether it is a seven day a week account or one magazine a month. At the moment we are looking into the possibility of providing a delivery service to the Addingham area, more details will be posted as we progress.
